Overall, Epic Books is a great resource for educators. This is an application I would use, I like that it provides such a vast library which makes finding high interest books easier. Today, classrooms are created of diverse students. Having books that have accessible options like “read to me,” or “audio” will allow more students access to reading materials. The only negative is that not all classrooms have computers available daily, this may complicate daily reading and access to the application. I like that educators could share access with parents, this gives parents the opportunity to see what students are reading during school and possibly read with students, creating a supportive environment for students working on their reading skills. I would include Epic Books in my resource collection for education!
